Oh the Life...

Sitting here looking out the window watching all the birds that I have recently taken upon myself to feed...
DING, DING, DING...a light bulb goes off...

Uhhh, I wanna be a bird....know why??
Because today will be the 3rd time in 3 days that I've filled up the feeders...so it occurs to me..."How the hell can they eat that much food and be so tiny & cute?"....I wanna be a bird!!!
Wouldn't it be nice to eat ALL YOU WANT...You know, LIVE at the all you can eat buffet and still be cute & tiny...Oh the life...
THEN, another light bulb goes off....I know why!!!
Cause they are constantly exercising, that's why! (get it, they fly everywhere they go)  HA...So even the damn birds have to exercise to stay fit!

And I thought I wanted to be a bird....nahh...

  1. lmao...yeah, that's way too much exercise for me too, lol. Thanks for the comment on my blog. You should consider walking the half with us in November down in Savannah...don't you live around here? In the Carolinas maybe?

  2. Female birds still have to sit on the nest all day while their male counterparts hunt, so doesn't seem much different to me...lol! stop by my blog for your chance to win the Hungry Girl Happy Hour cookbook, amazon and Subway gift cards!! (oh and I am still trying to dig up that copy of my plan)

  3. Tammy, I'm in NC...Gosh...Savannah is quite a ways from me, but I have been thinking of doing some kind of walk for a cause...It'd be fun & I'd feel like I accomplished something=)

lol Christie...now that you mention it, it does sound JUST like lots of human families! No problem on the plan...and I'll stop in your blog to check out the book=) Thanks!

  4. I'm here and now following, Marty. Yep, those birds work hard for their chow.

  5. Sure a bird is cute and adorable, but I would be in fear of my life on a daily basis. Would I fly into a window because I thought it was open? Would I crash into a car because I couldn't fly high enough? Would I even make it out of the nest without falling flat on the ground? Or would I be eaten by something bigger? That's too much pressure!

  6. Good to see you Darla!!

LOL...ok, now that you put it that way, I suppose being a bird would be more hazardous to your health than the all you can eat buffet. haha

  7. Love this idea, haha - those lucky birds! I read an article recently about a guy who ran a marathon every day for a year, and all I could think about was how much he probably ate.
